Artist's Comments

The Grand River runs through downtown Fergus, Ontario and it passes by a couple of unique structures. In the background, you can see what used to be the Fergus Market (which used to be a local foundry, but I digress).

People used to come from all over Ontario to visit the Fergus Market, so it came as a bit of a surprise when it was closed down. Now the Market has been converted into a strip mall.
